Puppy, Novice Dog/ Novice Handler and Veteran working tests were held at Thornbrough Training Ground at West Tanfield near Ripon by kind permission of Anthea Shelley.
The Judges were Eden Parish, Anthea Shelley and Alan Lord.
There was a lot of advanced planning and careful thought as to how to best use this lovely ground with respect to the classes involved and to make sure that the tests were sufficiently far apart so as not to interfere with each other.
It was, therefore, decided to run 3 static tests, including a water test and to have a walked-up test for the Puppy and ND/NH and a mini drive for the Veteran as the 4th.
The weather was kind and we were lucky enough to have some super helpers and excellent dummy throwers. Huge thanks must go to these people without whom these events cannot happen. Many thanks also to Jane Burniston who again very kindly provided us with delicious cakes.
Congratulations go to the worthy winners:
